METK – researchers and agricultural practitioners united

The Agricultural Research Centre and the state research and development institution Estonian Crop Research Institute (ECRI) decided not to compete, aiming for the same goals, and join forces. Thus METK, the leader of good Estonian rural life and profitable agriculture, was born. More seeds make more produce. We think. METK knows, ask them.

METK unites researchers and agricultural practitioners that create tomorrow’s trends in agriculture.

The goal is to feed the entire country with fresh and healthy food, if necessary, and at the same time preserve the abundance of nature. Because Estonian rural life and local food, the skill and will to grow it are part of Estonian identity.
