ETKI – Estonian Crop Research Institute

Wheat Ada and tomato Erk are examples of varieties bred at the Estonian Crop Research Institute. A century worth of research needed a sophisticated online home, where creating a solid information architecture was the main challenge.

In order for researchers to find information about publications, for farmers and hobby gardeners to be able to choose between varieties, an information hierarchy had to be created where topics and details can be filtered. The site serves also as the main information channel for introducing science, sales and the institute.
